o Build strong relationship with clients meeting periodically. Conduct both operational and non-operational meetings.
o Build relationship with internal clients (i.e. in-house expert teams) and external consultants.
o Ensure that adequate level of attention and interaction with clients is maintained.
o Resolve client complaints, escalations and issues; spot and resolve root cause.
o Resolve inter-team issues.
o Prepare inter-team Responsibility Matrix
o Ensure that clients are always updated with recent changes in laws.
o Monitor and improve quality of client service across the portfolio and practice.
o Build strong relationship within the team and maintain the cultural standards of the firm, Set and maintain the right approach, perception and direction within the team.
o Team cohesion, development, motivation and retention
o Handle a team size of 15+
o Review Job Descriptions and Team Roadmaps, Regular appraisal of direct reportees and interview with skip level.
o Conduct or ensure soft skill, technical and other need based trainings are conducted regularly as required at all levels.
o Conduct regular review meetings operational as well as non-operational.
o Recruitment and planning
o Effect change management as per plans
o Ensure that the team adheres to firm value, policies and code of conduct.
o Develop / Innovate internal firm processes. Identify Process Improvement areas and ensure that core firm processes are improved, SOPs designed and implemented.
o Regularly review internal processes to identify areas that need improvement. Conduct Root cause analysis as required.
o Optimize time involvement in each client, with effective delegation in order to optimize resource recovery.
o Review client wise Time Budgets and decide the action points.
o Identify new opportunities (Mining)
o Handle a portfolio of 20+ clients
o Monitor health of compliances and deliverables by conducting periodic reviews. Spot and resolve the gaps.
o Resolve important / critical issues.
o Monitor the set-up of accounting and finance function of new clients.
o Monitor updation of management trackers
o Periodic Financial Analysis
o Monitor progress of end to end finalization process. Intervene as required & Resolve inter-team issues if any
