Essential Functions of the Job
Successfully execute a project to agreed schedule, budget and scope
Perform the relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close, and the supporting processes e.g. scope, time, cost, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management
Plan the project based on defined need - results in detailed scope /budget/ schedule baseline
Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control
Plan for and manage change
Interface and communicate with project team, management and stakeholders
Manage project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project
Delivery of projects aligned to overall business and technology strategies and architectures
Work within defined governance processes
Manage to the objectives and plan by thorough risk, issue and change management across both business and IT parts of the project
Ensures that quality project standards are met as prescribed by IT Services through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
Monitors and manages multiple IT enablement or Platform enablement projects through agreed scope, time and costs
Proactively identify risks and issues on projects - leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans
Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution
Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
Analytical skills and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Experience of managing IT projects and personal accountability for delivering to time and cost for projects
Knowledge of Project management methodology, tools and templates (includes project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)
Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust and delivering on promises
Skills to manage one or more smaller projects simultaneously
IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases
Knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g. RAIDs, budget, communication
Strong team working skills across client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
Strong communication and inter-personal skills including negotiation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
Detailed Responsibilities
From an Automation perspective, below would be the day-to-day roles and responsibilities:
Facilitate meetings with architects and RPA project team to review architecture solution
Facilitate meetings with InfoSec consultant and RPA project team to review information security aspects
Facilitate meetings with application owners for applications in scope of automation and get their buy-in for automations, understand how application is authenticated
Facilitate InfoSec and architect sign-off for solution
Guide project teams on privacy impact assessment for the business processes and help with data privacy sign-offs
Provide IT related guidance to RPA project team (including BIA, Performance testing aspects, Infrastructure review)
Work closely with RPA project team to meet their go-live deadlines
Help with IT enablement tasks for evaluations for automation tools including vendor assurance, legal review process, procurement, architecture reviews, infoSec reviews and data privacy reviews
Build automation platforms engaging with various IT teams including architects, GIS and GHS teams, InfoSec and data privacy teams.
Work with InfoSec stakeholders to finalize infoSec requirements to be addressed by automation teams, and also to close exceptions within the exception deadlines
Help with IT enablement tasks for automation related POCs
Job Requirements:
Education
A degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience
Experience:
8 plus years in a corporate IT environment
4 plus years experience in Project management or related technical field (application development, deployment/ implementation and infrastructure
2 plus years in project management
Good knowledge of how IT services functions in a global environment
Extensive understanding of EY Service Lines in order to operate effectively and deliver objectives within a matrix organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence appropriate outcome (in English)
Negotiation experience
Intermediate problem solving skills
Serve as a role model
Organizational skills and the ability to flex in a constantly changing environment
Conflict management and diplomacy
